Sometimes, writing means disappearing from the world around you and stepping into one that only you can see. The past six months have been exactly that for me—a journey into legends, unforgettable characters, and a world that had to be built piece by piece.

I have always believed that writing is one of the most demanding forms of art. A writer lives alongside characters who do not yet exist for anyone else. They breathe with them, share their struggles and triumphs, and eventually bring them to life for readers.

During these six months, despite unanswered questions, moments of frustration, and countless creative challenges, a new world slowly took shape. A world that, through the power of storytelling, I hope readers will one day experience as vividly as I did.

Today, I am grateful to witness the completion of another lasting work. A story whose characters I hope you will come to know as deeply as I did, because I lived with them, breathed alongside them, and devoted myself to bringing them into existence.

People often say that every book is the result of years of a writer’s experiences, thoughts, and dedication. After this journey, I truly understand what that means.

I sincerely hope that in the coming months I will be able to share the news of the publication of my new novel, Loulan and the Girl of the Dragon Sigil—a unique fantasy story set in the heart of ancient China.
