Building a World – From Nothing to AykA
Worlds are not born in a day. They grow slowly from silence, from pain, from imagination brick by brick, dream by dream.
AykA began the same way: not with pages, but with a vision. Before writing a single word, I began by shaping the world visually.
I wanted to feel the weight of the stones, the cold of the night wind, the fire reflecting in the warrior’s eyes, the silence of a forgotten city carved into the mountain.
To build AykA, I created city walls, palaces inspired by ancient Babylon, spiraling roads climbing a massive mountain, forests, deserts, and a kingdom divided between light and darkness.
Every image you have seen is not an artwork; it is a piece of that world. A fragment of a story that is slowly awakening.
From sketching rough maps to building cinematic scenes, every layer was created manually: the fire in the desert, the crying man, the warrior and the demon, the forest tree with the owl and the snake, the Queen’s palace on the mountain.
There are still many places you have not seen, hidden valleys, underwater temples, and the throne hall inside the mountain. This world is still growing.
Soon, you will step deeper into it. Follow the journey. Everything you see is just the beginning.
